The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide you with information on what personal data are processed by JSC Viesnīca Latvija in the SPA complex ESPA Riga, purposes of processing of the personal data, recipients of personal data, duration of storage and protection of personal data as well as your rights with regards to personal data processing.

WHO IS THE PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING CONTROLLER?

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

We may process the following your personal data:

  • identification data (name, surname, date of birth, personal identity number);
  • contact information data (e-mail address, telephone number);
  • health data, required for safe and individual provision of services (information on weight, height, pregnancy, surgeries performed, health status and health issues, including allergies, injuries, as well as use of medicinal products and medical devices);
  • data on the business relations (start and end date of customer and other relations, purchase history, payment means data, subscription data, feedbacks and complaints and correspondence in relation to the above mentioned);
  • Campaigns and marketing activities sent to you and use thereof;
  • Technical data sent from your devices (such as, computers and mobile devices) as well as information related to cookies and other similar technologies;
  • e-mail and chat correspondence, history of other kind of communication;
  • other personal data that we have to process in accordance with the requirements of regulatory enactments or that you submit to us pursuant to your own initiative.

HOW TO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Mostly we collect your personal data, if you submit them to us verbally, in writing or on our website www.espariga.lv, hereinafter - the Site, as well as from software, cookies and similar technologies during the time, when you use the Site or advertising materials place on our internet. In certain cases we may collect your personal data also from third persons, for example, if you have given consent for that.

WHEN AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We process your personal data only if we have at least one of the legal grounds for personal data processing - your consent, our legitimate (lawful) interests, personal data are required for conclusion and fulfilment of a contract or for performance of duties provided for in regulatory enactments.

Our legitimate (lawful) interests are to perform our principal activity, ensuring as broad as possible and customized range of products and services to you. Within the framework of our legitimate (lawful) interests we perform activities for promotion of sale of products and services, including by sending marketing notices, implementing promotions, lotteries, performing customer surveys etc. Out interest is to protect our rights and interests, for example, if you have submitted a complaint regarding our products or services and quality thereof. We process your personal data in order to verify your identity, to conclude and fulfil the contract, including ensuring performance of settlements and accounting.

We process your personal data, in order to offer you carefully selected products and services, including providing customized offers, in order to perform surveys, market analysis, collect statistics, as well as in order to ensure your participation in promotions, lotteries and events organized by us. The events, promotions and lotteries organized by us are public events. We process your personal data, in order to perform the duties determined in regulatory enactments binding to us.

We perform constant video surveillance (also recording) in the premises of public use as well as in the zone of active leisure of the SPA complex.

We perform your personal data processing, in order to prevent or detect criminal offences in relation to protection of property and vitally important interests of person, including life and health protection, and ensure compliance with security requirements in our premises.

TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL DATA MAY BE TRANSFERRED?

We may deliver your personal data to the following categories of recipients:

  • personal data processors, who provide certain services to use and process personal data on our behalf, for example, for individual beauty care service providers, performing activities in the SPA complex ESPA Riga, IT service providers, personal data management and analysis service providers, financial and legal advisors and marketing service providers etc.;
  • other personal data receivers, such as state or municipal authorities (State Revenue Service, Lotteries and Gambling Supervision Inspection etc.) as well as courts, in order to provide performance of duties determined in regulatory enactments or protect our interests;
  • third persons in case of merger, acquisition of companies, sale of assets of the company or transfer of services to another service provider.

We transfer your personal data to other persons (recipients) only in accordance with contracts, providing relevant guarantees for personal data protection, or if such transfer is provided under provisions of regulatory enactments, and only to the extent it is necessary for achievement of purposes, for which the data are transferred.

We store your personal data as long as it is necessary for the relevant purposes of personal data processing. The period of storage may be based on the contract, our legitimate (lawful) interests or applicable regulatory enactments.

  • in certain cases to request erasure of personal data, for example, when the personal data are processed on the basis of your consent that you revoke;
  • to object to processing of your personal data if they are processed on the basis of our legitimate (lawful) interests;
  • in certain cases to request to limit personal data processing, for example, when inaccurate personal data are processed or personal data processing is not legal;
  • to revoke consent for personal data processing, including for receipt of marketing notices;
  • to request to transmit personal data, you have provided in any of the most frequently used electronic formats and being processed on the basis of consent and fulfilment of the contract;
  • to submit a complaint regarding the personal data processing to the supervisory authority - State Data Inspectorate (www.dvi.gov.lv).

You may refuse from receipt of our marketing notices also by using the refusal site that you will find at the bottom part of every electronic marketing notice sent by us. However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that in case of refusal of personal data processing we will not be able to provide information to you regarding the full range of our services and products, besides, you may miss favourable offers.

VALIDITY AND AVAILABILITY OF THE PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy shall be in force as of 8 March 2019.

This privacy policy is available to you on the Site, as well as at the SPA complex ESPA Riga, upon asking to the customer service specialist.

In order to ensure our obligations with regards to personal data processing, we regularly monitor our activities in the area of personal data processing. Therefore we have the right to unilaterally amend this privacy policy at any time.
